Le régime Dukan : quelle place dans le classement des régimes

Nous publions une étude  réalisée par des experts américains qui donnent un classement des principaux régimes, donc celui de Dukan :

Document : La place du régime dukan

Quelques extraits :
Best Diets Overall
Experts sent the Dukan diet to the bottom, handing out dismal ratings in nearly every category. Its overall score was more than a full star below average. It’s too restrictive, with lots of rules, and there’s no evidence it works. One expert described the diet as “idiotic.”
Rank : 34/35         Grade : 2.0 out of 5.0

Best Diets for Healthy Eating :
If you want a healthy diet, look elsewhere, our panel concluded. The high amount of protein could lead to long-term health problems, and shutting out entire food groups poses a risk of nutritional deficiencies. Possible side effects include lethargy, bad breath and constipation.
Rank : 32/35         Grade : 2.2 out of 5.0

Best Heart-Healthy Diets
The Dukan diet came in dead last in the heart-health category, with experts ranking it short of minimally effective. Don’t expect it to have a positive effect. “Long-term research” is needed to suss out any potential benefits, according to one expert.
Rank : 35/35         Grade : 1.7 out of 5.0

Best Diabetes Diets
The Dukan diet came in dead last in the diabetes category. Research is lacking, so what kind of effect – if any – the plan would have on diabetes is largely unknown.
Rank : 34/35         Grade : 2.0 out of 5.0

Best Weight-Loss Diets
This diet is among the lowest scorers in the weight-loss category. Dieters are fairly likely to drop pounds fast, but the experts were dubious about the likelihood that the weight will stay off because of a plethora of rules and restrictions. One panelist described it as a “monstrosity” that’s “clearly unsuitable for children and families.”
Rank : 31/35         Grade : 2.5 out of 5.0
